How does it work

The Technical Foundation

Turbo Subdomains leverages Cloudflare’s DNS management to seamlessly convert WordPress categories into fully functional subdomains. When you create a subdomain through the plugin:

  1. WordPress creates or assigns a category with your specified settings
  2. Cloudflare automatically creates a CNAME record pointing the subdomain to your main domain
  3. The plugin configures URL rewriting to route subdomain traffic correctly
  4. Default pages are generated (Home, About Us, Contact, Privacy Policy, Terms of Service, Cookie Policy) using AI if configured
  5. Theme assignment happens based on your default, random, or specific theme settings

The Fully Managed Approach

Since TurboWare provides fully managed hosting with Turbo Subdomains, you don’t need to worry about:

  • Server configuration or optimization
  • PHP version compatibility
  • WordPress updates and maintenance
  • Database performance tuning
  • Cloudflare integration setup
  • DNS configuration

Everything is pre-configured and optimized for running large-scale private blog networks.

The Content Automation Workflow

Once your subdomains are created, the content automation system operates continuously in the background:

  1. Campaigns are scheduled based on your configuration (posts per day, interval timing)
  2. Content is generated or fetched from your chosen sources (AI, RSS, News API, YouTube)
  3. Images are automatically sourced from Pixabay, Unsplash, or AI image generators
  4. Content is optionally spun or rewritten for uniqueness using configured spinners
  5. Posts are published to designated subdomains on schedule
  6. Indexing requests are submitted via IndexNow protocol for faster search engine discovery

The Scalability Advantage

Unlike traditional multi-site WordPress networks that require separate installations, Turbo Subdomains operates from a single WordPress installation, providing:

  • Centralized management – All subdomains controlled from one dashboard
  • Resource efficiency – Shared WordPress core, plugins, and themes
  • Simplified updates – One update applies across all subdomains
  • Unified user management – Centralized author and contributor control

Cross-network functionality – Internal linking, content manipulation, and reporting across entire network
