Prompt Management

Prompts are the instructions that guide AI in generating content. Turbo Subdomains uses a sophisticated prompt system with three distinct types.

Understanding Prompt Sets

Three Types of Prompt Sets:

  1. New AI Content: For creating original articles from scratch (used in Content Automation campaigns)
  2. Rewrite Content: For rewriting existing content from RSS/News sources
  3. Default Pages: For generating subdomain default pages (Home, About Us, Contact, etc.)

Each prompt set type serves a specific purpose and contains multiple individual prompts for different content elements.

Prompt Set Structure

The interface has three columns:

  1. Left Column: Select prompt set type (New Content, Rewrite, or Default Pages)
  2. Middle Column: View available prompt sets for the selected type
  3. Right Column: View and edit individual prompts within the selected set

At the top of the right column:

  • Set Name: The identifier for this prompt set
  • AI Provider and Model: Which AI service uses these prompts

New AI Content Prompts

New Content prompts guide AI in creating original articles for Content Automation campaigns.

Default Prompt Set

Turbo Subdomains includes a non-editable default prompt set that ensures you always have functional baseline prompts. This cannot be modified or deleted.

Available Prompts in New Content Sets

  • Article Title: Creates titles using description and section headlines
  • Article Title with SEO Keywords: Incorporates SEO keywords into titles for better optimization

  • Case Study: Generates a case study that is relevant to the topic.
  • FAQ: Generates the Frequently Asked Questions section in the article, addressing common queries.
  • Quick Reference: Adds reference article links in the posts, providing additional resources for readers.

Understanding Smart Tags

Smart tags are placeholders within prompts that get replaced with actual data during content generation.

Two Types of Smart Tags

  1. Campaign Data Tags: These represent information you provide when creating campaigns:
  • {description}: The brief description entered for the campaign
  • {keywords}: Primary SEO keywords
  • {secondary-keywords}: Secondary SEO keywords for backlinks
  • {nap-brands}: NAP (Name, Address, Phone) or brand keywords
  • {number-of-headlines}: How many sections the article should have
  1. Generated Content Tags: These represent content created by other prompts:
  • {section-headline}: The generated section titles
  • {section}: Content generated for section
  • {minimal-use-of-these-word}: The words for minimal use

Understanding smart tags is crucial for creating effective custom prompts. They allow prompts to dynamically adapt to different campaigns and content requirements.

Rewrite Content Prompts

Rewrite prompts are used when content is fetched from RSS feeds or News API sources and needs to be rewritten for uniqueness.

These prompts follow a similar structure to New Content prompts but are specifically optimized for rewriting existing content rather than creating from scratch.

Default Pages Prompts

Default Pages prompts create the standard pages every subdomain needs.

Available Page Prompts:

  • Home: Creates the subdomain homepage content
  • About Us: Generates about page content
  • Contact Us: Creates contact page information
  • Privacy Policy: Generates privacy policy content
  • Terms of Service: Creates terms of service pages
  • Cookie Policy: Generates cookie policy information

The default set provides functional prompts for all these pages. You can create custom sets for more personalized default pages.

Creating Custom Prompt Sets

Custom prompt sets allow you to tailor AI output to your specific needs, niche requirements, or writing style.

Steps to Create a New Prompt Set:

  1. Select the set type from the left column (New Content, Rewrite, or Default Pages)
  2. Click the New Set button in the middle column
  3. The system auto-fills all prompt fields with default prompt text
  4. Edit each prompt field to match your requirements
  5. Maintain the smart tag structure (don’t remove necessary tags)
  6. Enter a descriptive name for your prompt set at the top
  7. Select the AI Provider and Model for this set
  8. Click Save in the top right corner

Your new prompt set is now available for selection when creating campaigns.

Best Practices for Custom Prompts:

  • Keep smart tags intact – they’re essential for data insertion
  • Be specific about tone and style requirements
  • Include examples of desired output format when possible
  • Test prompts with small campaigns before large-scale use
  • Document what each custom set is designed for

Editing Prompt Sets

Default Sets: Cannot be edited. These are locked to ensure you always have working baseline prompts.

Custom Sets: Fully editable.

To Edit a Custom Prompt Set:

  1. Select the prompt set type from the left column
  2. Choose your custom set from the middle column
  3. Modify any prompt fields as needed
  4. Preserve all smart tags
  5. Click Save in the top right corner

Changes take effect immediately for new content generation.

Deleting Prompt Sets

Default Sets: Cannot be deleted. They provide essential baseline functionality.

Custom Sets: Can be deleted at any time.

To Delete a Custom Prompt Set:

  1. Select the prompt set you want to remove
  2. Click the Delete button in the top right corner
  3. Confirm the deletion
  4. The prompt set is permanently removed

Warning: Campaigns using a deleted prompt set may fail. Ensure no active campaigns depend on a prompt set before deletion.

Prompt Set Usage Tips

  • Start with Defaults: Use default sets initially to understand prompt structure
  • Create Niche-Specific Sets: Develop custom prompts for different industries or content types
  • Test Thoroughly: Always test new prompt sets with small batches before large campaigns
  • Document Your Sets: Keep notes on what each custom set is designed to achieve

Monitor Output Quality: Regularly review AI-generated content to ensure prompts are effective
